eBay 1873 Seated $1: is it real?

I'm no expert with this series, but it looks odd to me: auction link.
When in doubt, don't.

Anyone that thinks that coin is real should take up stamp collecting.image

His 34-s looks fake too. I bet he bought some Chinese counterfeits and is trying to dump them.

    Not genuine, in my opinion.

Here's the tricky question: Are any of his Morgan and Peace dollars real?
    When in doubt, don't.

I think the 1879 is real but now that you mention it, the 1923 looks fake too.

Makes you wonder if the watches he's selling are real. I doubt it.

Do human beings really use grammar like this? I thought we had progressed beyond this point with chimps and Golden Retrievers . . . .

I too messed with this seller on this coin and here's a response or two:

    Dear bobandlinda1,

Thgats OK if I dont get the price im looking for it will not be sold. I dont see anyone om ebay haveing that kind of money. Thank you for looking.

    - sweatysacdaryl

He was messing with me too as the following is really not bad grammar:

    Dear bobandlinda1,

Sorry but this coin is not a fake. We just thought it was funny that someone would even ask how we new the weight of this coin. Almost all coins are right around 27 grams. Bullion is a another story. Thank you for your insite though. We got a giggle out of it. I dont know how you can tell anything from a picture when top coin graders cant.

    - sweatysacdaryl

I think he knew what he had and was looking for a sucker....everyday, 'eh?
