    I'm impressed with all the money people report finding! I think people like me that walk looking at the ground tend to find more than some others. I don't think I will start using all the techniques mentioned above, such as drive-throughs, but some people have creative and interesting ideas on best places to find lost money.

    It was 1962...I was 12 years old....walked out of a deli and found $400.00 in twenties with a rubber band on them,laying in the gutter.

    That was a huge amount considering I made about $20.00 a week in tips on my paper route.
    Most tips were in the 10 cent to 30 cent range.
