Opinions on a Ted Williams Photo

A customer of mine bought this recently and wanted my opinion on it. I told him I would post it on here so get some third, fourth, fifth, etc. opinions.

Personally, I thought the "T" looks very off, as does the "s."

Peoples signatures change after many years. Its never going to be consistant. Could of caught Ted on an off day. Does he know how old he was when he signed this. Also, just looking at the signature - it doesnt look heavy meaning it doesnt look like someone tried to write it slow and you could see spots from the marker bleeding. That could be a good thing.

With something like that - my advice would just be to send it to PSA because if it comes back authentic, that is a valuable auto.

Yep that looks like the The Splendid Splinter to me. OBTW, the signature looks a little different, but like mentioned before; it might have been a hurried day.

    Nope.

And it's not hurried, look at the joining of the "d" to "W", it was done slowly. The slant is off too. IMO, no good.

The T, W, both L's, M, and the S all look off to me.

Dare I ask what he paid. Prices that seem too good to be true usually are...

Here's a random auction off EBAY of a PSA/DNA auto'd photo with a great close up of the sig:

Thank you for everyone's responses confirming my suspicions. I will let the customer know. He was kicking himself yesterday when I told him it was sketchy; he is probably going to try to track the guy down and get his money back.

I didn't mention this in the first place because I wanted everyone's responses to be objective, but it comes with a Nicholas Burczyk COA. image

    Who is Tied Williams?

If it has burczyk you know it's unauthentic should have just told him that.

I know Burczyk COAs are one of the sketchiest things in existence, I just wanted confirmation that it was NG.
