Ok I have an idea on what this is but need help...Chinese

What the hell is it. I figure 1908 50C other then that Im lost. I really need a book that guides through attribution.

Edited to add, with off material and poor quality dies I'd say its quite nice.

    Yep. It's Chinese.

    That's as much as I can help you with.

    You've actually gone further than me if you can say it's from 1908. I was gonna say Chinese, early 1900s, and leave it at that.

    Smoe other Darkside wizard will know, however.

    Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

    Yunnan Province 50 Cents Y#257 - Y#257.3. These coins were from 1911 and struck all the way until 1949. They went from .800 fine to .500 fine. Not worth all that much more than silver.
