B&M trip today

Guy came in to the store and cashed in a bunch of wheats in 4 coffee cans for 2.5 cents ea. I asked later on if he had any wheats and he says the ones he got in if i came back next week they would be 4 cents ea or if i had to have them now it would be 5 cents ea. 946 cents in all. I splurged the extra cent ea for something he didnt get ahold of and cherry pick.

I think he expected me to wait for him to search first and was a little surprised i went 5 cents ea.

Think this was good practice that i jumped at this or should i have waited? I figure he wouldnt offered if he wasnt ok with selling them.

Other items i picked up today was

1891O morgan with a nice die cracks

1957D Die chip between bust and R in TRUST.

1963 with a lamination error right of Y of LIBERTY. ( didnt know this was doable on silver).

and a 1917S ( S on rev). I dont know why i bought it. image

if you like searching wheat cents, you're getting some pretty inexpensive enjoyment out of the deal.
