This is an ebay auction (actually 6 auctions) for 26-S Oregon Trails. 170769198043 The reverse pics look the same. Notice the scratch above the oxen. There is something about them that just doesn't look right.

Looking at the obverse shots they are 6 entirely different OT's.
They do look like they have been together for a long time and handled and stored in the same fashion.

Agreed. I don't like the lack of details and the granularity on a lot of them. I'd stay away!

I agree. All have the same die scratches as does the fake posted. Look at the guy beside the
oxen and the staff he carries. Just above and in front of the walker near the left side of the
staff. Same disturbances, as the OP mentioned.

Unfortunately, the seller keeps his 100% feedback rating as if nothing ever happened, and future buyers of other items are none the wiser that this guy was selling fakes. I'm not sure if he pulled his own items, or if eBay did, but if eBay did the pulling, there should be some sort of hit to a seller's feedback or status. 100% feedback implies everything is great with this seller.

He said he pulled them. and that he had same thought as this thread started with, that they had not seen fakes of the early Comms.
is this another fake, this time in a 1939? terrible photos, but i do not see any smaller rays, and some questionable rims. ?

Sure not getting my money with those lousy images and no plastic. Only cost $18.00 to get it certified and wants $600.00 for it no way.
