1962 DDO Proof Washington Quarters????

I just picked up 5 62 proof sets and 4 of the 5 appear to have DDO quarters. I am not an error collector, but they all look the same. Liberty is doubled, In God We Trust doubled and 962 in the date is doubled. My questions are:

1. Are they a recognized DDO and
2. Are they worth getting sent in to be recognized.
3. If it's junk let me know.

If it is the fs-25-1962 101 ,

only one has been graded By PCGS as per coin facts.

It is a proof-65.

It's hard to say what it would be worth.

I just found it odd that 4 out of the 5 sets contain this. I know nothing about these varaitions, might as well be speaking Latin to me. Thanks for the info.

Since the doubling on the 1962 Proof is actually a close quadrupling and fairly difficult to see, I'm guess that there's a high probability that the OP has machine doubling on his coins. Machine or ejection doubling can be common on proof coinage since they receive at least two hits with the die anyway.

In other words, for someone who has little experience inDDO's, I would expect that this one would be very difficult to actually see.

Can the OP post some close up pictures of the coins motto?

CONECA has 8 DDO's listed for the 62 Proof Washington.
