  Looks nice and original from my chair. I say she's got a good eye! MAN I wish my mother in law bought me super cool coins for Christmas!

  The O/F is in reference to how this variety is listed in the Red Book. It is my understanding that the die was re-cut which makes the top of the O and F connected by a faint line. On mine, you can barely see even the beginning of the O/F even under 10X magnification. This is the most common die marriage for this year so it is nothing scarce.

  Nice solid VF25 if you ask me. Your mother in law must know a little about coins, if not she would have had a good chance of finding a cleaned one.
