Looks nice and original from my chair. I say she's got a good eye! MAN I wish my mother in law bought me super cool coins for Christmas!
How strong is the O/F on it?

The O/F is in reference to how this variety is listed in the Red Book. It is my understanding that the die was re-cut which makes the top of the O and F connected by a faint line. On mine, you can barely see even the beginning of the O/F even under 10X magnification. This is the most common die marriage for this year so it is nothing scarce.

  • Nice solid VF25 if you ask me. Your mother in law must know a little about coins, if not she would have had a good chance of finding a cleaned one.
