1805 Dime 4 Berry recent pickup at the FUN show

Here is one of my newps from the FUN show. I mentioned it in another thread and people wanted to see it. I figured it would be easier for all to start a new thread on it.

It has a nice crust on it, and considering I traded 3 CBH that I didnt want any longer, who can complain. I will post my other newps later tomorrow. When I started my type set I figured I would be buying XF40-45 coins to fit in but I really wanted this one. Photo by Todd.

There is some luster evident, but itdoes have a crust and some color.

Nice coin, but my eyes went right to the scratch from the ear down to her bust. Is that on the holder?

Same here, Beautiful coin once i ignored that scratch on the obv

I will agree, the scratch is a bit distrating, however it really can only be seen when tilted and lite. In hand with the naked eye virtually invisable.

Very nice Dime. Thats not a dime that you can find at any show or on any website, they are really tough to find, and if you want to find a near perfect one they are even harder.Did you notice how many Draped bust dimes there was in VF to AU that were nice at the Fun show?

The scratch looks more of a collector's mishap than an older toned over one. Nonetheless, a very compromizable coin for many collectors with limited budgets.
