Had a funny conversation today at the local B&M.

Stopped by to see if there was anything new.
There was a 10c pattern that I wasn't very familiar with.
Asked the lady, "Do you have a Judd book handy"?
She replies, "Sure, let me get you the Red book".
I say, " No, a Judd book".
She looks confused then consults a more experienced salesman.
He says, "A Jed book?? What's that??"

(Baccaruda, 12/03).I find it hard to believe that he (Trump) rushed to some hotel to meet girls of loose morals, although ours are undoubtedly the best in the world. (Putin 1/17) Gone but not forgotten. IGWT, Speedy, Bear, BigE, HokieFore, John Burns, Russ, TahoeDale, Dahlonega, Astrorat, Stewart Blay, Oldhoopster, Broadstruck, Ricko, Big Moose, Cardinal.

Hm.
You may want them to use that Red Book to price that pattern.
Now that would be hilarious!

Shop Guy: (confused) "A polyp book??"
Lakesamman: "Nevermind...." (walking out the door)

Duckor owns THAT book.
Melt? - I wish. Pretty coin but over priced.
I called Boiler78 who let me know the ball park price, roughly 60% of what they are asking.
The guy asks, "Do you want me to check with "name deleted" on the price."??
The price sticker is already on the back of the holder.
What did you expext?

She replies, "Would that be Ashley, Naomi or Wynonna?"
<< <i>Wasn't the Judd book superseded by a newer pattern reference book several years ago? >>
The Pollack book was quite popular for a while, and it does have a lot of information not in Judd, but it had it's own numbering system not compatible with Judd numbers and was never updated. Still usefull as a reference, but Whitman has recusitated the Judd franchise and that is what everybody uses.
I like Pollack as there's more "meat".
USpatterns.com has the better pictures and is updated continually, especially useful for prices realized.

Lakesammman:No ... I meant a book on patterns.
Lady: Oh ... do you mean the one by Simplicity?
