  Betwixt and between. If it had not been cleaned you probably could not have seen that
  crossbar. Gunk loves to settle into those small crevices!

  The coin is listed as an R-7, wonder how many more might be hiding out there.

  VAM 7 is a difficult coin, but I don't quite agree with R7. VAM 8 is a killer, though.

  Tough coin, and it looks like a nice example. The cleaning doesn't appear to have killed the coin, and the PVC residue can get removed with a little acetone. Congrats on the find!
