Proof silver statehood quarters going for basically raw bullion

It may not be a bad way to pick up silver-- Monarch Precious Metals was selling them for a while, in their plastic package, no COAs or boxes for just a cat's whisker above their raw bullion bars.

Other than the '99, '95, and maybe one or two others I have been able to buy all of my silver proof sets from eBay at melt or less. They're really easy to find at melt when silver goes on a tear for a few days because not everyone updates their store's pricing every day. Of course if you're obsessed with paying melt or less for PMs like me than you probably have a few seller's bookmarked and know how to work the system already
Be forewarned though, a friend on another forum who buys mint sets has reported receiving proof clad coins in a set or two so you need to check everything you buy carefully... Even if they come from a reputable online dealer you need to examine the coins to make sure no one switched them.

About $26 worth
I see the 2012 set came out, still at $41.95, as is the 2011 set.
I was hoping they'd drop the price this week.
