PMD - 1c, 10c, 25c (Warning: Large mediocre pics)

I always enjoy seeing unique examples of PMD. Or perhaps I'm wrong and some of this is mint damage? image Sorry for the point and shoot pics, never claimed to be a pro.

I'll start with this 2002 Washington Quarter. I think someone was messing with a tool or started a love token they didn't finish. It has a beveled edge and the reverse is fine. Pulled out of a mixed bank roll.

Another Washington Quarter of unknown date, this one is demolished! It is interesting to me that metal flowed over and obscured the date.

Now a strange dime. I wouldn't think anyone would like this enough to make jewelry out of it unless its a birthyear I suppose. It weighs in at 2.3 grams (nominal weight) and all the reeding is gone.

Here is a similar cent but it has been plated in something. Found this in a large bag of wheaties. It also appears to have been mounted at some point. Weighs in at 3.9 grams (3.11 is nominal).

Here is one more for fun "ONE ENT", although I suspect this is a grease-filled die or something other than PMD. Date is 1910-P, absolutely no sign the C was ever there!

That's it. I've had most of these a while but finally got bored enough to take some pics and put them up here. Thanks for looking,
Joe

I believe that the dime and cent are "dryer" coins. Coins that get lost in a laundromat dryer for long time end up like that.

I think the Cent has a bezel around it, and the loop was broken off.

The "one ent" coin is obviously a Middle earth issue.

Possible or the edges could've been rolled by someone with a spoon.

Thanks. Wow a dryer coin?!? I never would have guessed that in a million years and would have thought it would take about that long for a dryer to do that to a coin!

As for the demolished quarter, I'm thinking I should see if I can break a Coinstar machine with it image

The 1910 "ONE ENT" cent obviously was a prized "Pocketses" piece belonging to Treebeard.image
