Call this a place holder. Too bad i cant buy all these cracks posted.
It's the only John Reich error known for this series, as it has a large planchet strike through imperfection which covers star 4 on the obverse.
The obverse also has a diagonal bisecting crack from the border at 1:00 through the cap and head of Miss Liberty to star 2.
Another crack from the border through star 11 almost reaches the hair.
1864 LM, Old ANACS-58 with 180-degree rotated reverse
Proud recipient of Y.S. Award on 07/26/08.
This is the best series for cracks IMHO.
<< <i>Not the best pics, but it is my only one.
Looks like teeth marks on the obverse , in front of liberty.
All 1915-D
<< <i>Here are a few of the ones in my collection. I couldn't find pictures of all of them, and these aren't the best pictures either.
Looks like the "Frankenstein" varity, way cool!
