"CC" doesn't just stand for "Carson City", y'know.
It can also stand for Circulation Cameo, or "CircCam", as I'm fond of callin' 'em.
So you might say this CC is CC!

The "halo" effect occurs on several of the common dates of the CC's. It is discussed in the 1982 Wayne Miller book "The Morgan and Peace Dollar Textbook." If you don't have a copy already, the book is well worth getting, and often appears on Ebay at a reasonable cost.
