natural toning

Bought this dutch Silver Rider / Ducaton in May 2008 at auction,
it's in my showcase since then, looks quite different now after 2 1/2 years image
which one do you prefer ?

    I take it there's some open air in your showcase, then, Andres? That's picked up some nice toning, for sure.

    Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

    What a nice display and effect. Maybe I should throw a few of mine in there to get this nice toning effect image

    here is a very colorful 1858 10 cent..( also a re-punched last A/A in Canada)
    as far as I know it is NT.
    but.. how did it happen? how do these colors get to be???

    Looks like an AU-58 to me. The toning seems a bit unusual to me, but it looks natural and I kinda like it.

    would love to see a MS 60, wishful thinking??/

  • What a beautiful display and collection. You have very nice taste for coinage and decor. Very nice natural tone to some of
    your coins. my preference would surly be the Ducat with toning! Again; Lovely coins. I wish they were in my collection.
    Anything worth having is worth buying!

    yes, the 58 has die breaks, clashes , re-punched letters and numbers... and , I am not sure, some brockage?
