CU message boards search feature error

Lately whenever I have tried to do a search on these boards I get:

"The page you were accessing requires variables to be passed to it.

Error Code: 100 "

Does anyone else get this??? image

I do as well. What browser are you using? It seems to happen mostly with Google Chrome.

I've tried chrome, firefox, and safari to search on this forum...never been able to search a single thing ever. haha...
  • I have to switch browsers to IE8 in order to search the forum threads. Firfox won't do it.

If you have a FireFox version greater than 3.6.25 you will get that error. Simply uninstall any higher versions of FF and reinstall 3.6. Don't upgrade after that and TURN OFF any reminders to do so. It is ok to do security updates tho.

    Or use IE.

Search on this board hasn't worked in Firefox for well over a year. I PM'ed the moderators about it when I first discovered it, but was promptly ignored.

If I want to do a search here I have to fire up MSIE.

The powers that be don't seem interested in fixing the board... not sure if it's because they don't want to put any further money into this antiquated system (not that I blame them) or if it's just not worth their trouble to get everything functional.

the 3.6 version of FF work fine, only 1 of the 2 search functions work for me with version 8.0.1

    IE 9 works fine

The search dealie near the top left of the home/main page for each forum works fine with Chrome, any version of FF, etc. but that searches only titles. The advanced search function is the one with the issues.

Same here. My last several searches resulted in the same error. I'm running WIN 7 32-bit and IE8.0. I did not get this error before I went on "sabbatical" image 10 weeks ago!
