CoinosaurusCoinosaurus Posts: 9,656 ✭✭✭✭✭
Coinosaurus always grumpy in morning until Starbucks.

Coinosaurus wife now make Coinosaurus stay at Manhattan hotel near Stack's across from winged victory Samothrace statue in Central Park.

Coinosaurus now attempt to use cell phone to determine closest Starbucks and find that upper east side no like Starbucks and that three block walk is required.

Coinosaurus now wonder how the %&*#$!#% can it take three block walk in Midtown to get to closest coffee recharge place.

I went to Starbucks this morning in Redmond, WA. There were bears out here 30 years ago before they built the Microsoft headquarters. Redmond rare coins is not far away, not a bad coin shop.

I guarantee there's at least 2 Starbucks PER BLOCK in that part of Manhattan.

And Stacks is not far from the AOL Time Warner Center in Columbus Circle and there are two large Starbucks actually across the street from each other! I know...I've sat there downing my Grande Pike while staring out the window...at the other Starbucks...while another guy was downing his Grande Pike!

It's actually kind of like being trapped in a Star Trek alternate reality episode!

Hi, I live in Manhattan and there are Starbuck's stores everywhere. Ask the staff at the hotel front desk, I bet there is a Starbuck's within a 5 minute walk, if that. Enjoy your coffee and your stay in NYC!

    Coin'rus,
there's a Starbucks on nearly every block in uptown Manhattan... I was there just this past weekend (and walked by Stack's and Bonham's a couple times). You can hardly walk a block without stumbling upon a Starbucks.

There is a Starbucks across the street from STACKS about thirty yards to the right. I too suffer from Starbucks withdraw if I don't get it ASAP in the morning. Trust me. It is right there.

In all seriousness, there's probably a Starbucks in the lobby of the damn hotel!

I live in Manhattan...and I woke up one morning and there was one set up in my kitchen!

I was going to say, we used to use a design firm on W 57th St two doors up from Stacks, and IIRC there is a Starbucks on the corner of 7th and 58th. I needed it to stay awake during our meetings.
