88 proof sets just got a new home!

I just bought a large group of proof sets starting with 2 1951's, 2 1952's (both with Superbirds), and a bunch of sealed sets. The large stack on the left is a group of 22 1955 flat packs. This should be fun!

    cool! That Franklin in the black holder on the bottom right looks like it has some nice toning. Have fun!

    Nice score I see some nice gems in your future. EDIT to add did the seller now they were superbirds or was it cherry pick?

    These were in a bulk lot auction. I picked up on the Superbirds, not sure if anyone else did. Most of these were 1955-1959. Also included were 5 1964 sets, 4 open and 1 sealed. The 4 open 1964 sets were Accented Hair.

    I'll try and get some pics up tonight or tomorrow.

    What auction did you get these at? Was it local or the bay? I am fairly new to collecting, but would like some places to look for good pickups. I couldn't afford any purchase as big as this, but you never know what you might find. Thanks

    I have a 52 proof set in one of those older black holders... they have some serious toning as a result!

    Nice score whats the superbirds look like? Someone just outbid my bird at heritage and will be fun to see exactly what a dcam goes for. Have fun searching thru all that...................Enjoy tom
