Looks like about 300 of each gold sold during the last three days. Mintages are still very low. We won't have them for Christmas unless they ship today.

How did they look? I ordered 10 back when they first came out and sent them all back. They had to many shiny specks on the MS MOH. I did order 8 more should be here today.Hope they are nicer because they were $50 more each. What really sucked was I picked 13 out of 30 proof MOH and sent them in to pcgs and all came back 69s FS, not one 70.Laters

Any new speculation with the Army and MOH $5 unc's? Does anybody think these are a winner like maybe the '95 stadium or the '96 flag or cauldron? I picked up an unc. MOH off ebay late last night, paid about $50 too much but am wondering if it will pay off with a doubling of mint issue price in a few years.

I had a MS MOH but sold it for basically melt 'cause of a pretty serious luster break above the canon. I ended up ahead about $40 after eBay and Paypal fees. That said, I have seen a lot of complaints about the MS MOH coins-- a true 70 may be quite a bargain at the moment.

One guy had a set of Army/MOH unc coins for a BIN of $1099. They didn't sell. So, he relisted them for $1129 BIN. image

Yeah I saw that one too, kind of high but I expect that after any particular issue becomes unavailable. Hopefully these coins will be long time winners.

They looked great. I am keeping them all. I thought about sending 5 of them in on the Qtly grading special but I think I will wait.

When you look at the pricing of all the MS $5 gold commen's with sub-10,000 mintage levels the question, in my mind anyway, becomes, "Why wouldn't the MOH be a winner?" image

As an aside, since some of you mentioned condition issues, I figure it's worth noting that 2 of the 4 raw ogp coins that I bought from Apmex a couple weeks ago had a blemish on the obverse in the same spot. I was a bit disappointed, but I didn't send them back image

Jackie, they are priced so far above what the average collector can afford that they end up sitting in dealer inventories for years. Another thing I've noticed over the years is that it seems as if the commem. market is stagnant, especially the $5 gold series.
