can anyone show me a true rainbow 51d, 53d, 54d franklin half ?

i'm putting together a rainbow toned franklin set and haven't seen these three coins that would meet my standards of a true rainbow . can anyone show me a nicley toned franklin of these three coins so i will know that they really exist ? thanks !

I have a nicely toned 1953-D, which would meet the standards set in the latter portion of your post, but it is not rainbow toned.

It has a rain pattern of light lime green, peach, pink and gold on the obverse with a thick, dusty white reverse.

First I would like to apologize for the white balance being off on the 54-D- but I just shot this one in haste- now the second set is by one of our own- Soty- whom I have not seen here in a very long time- I miss his posts..

yes, it seems that several of the franklin collectors have been absent for a looooong time ! nice 54d !

While I have seen a variety of '51-D, '53-D or '54-D Franklins with decent toning, I personally have NEVER seen a rainbow toned one... and very few Franklins in total with rainbow toning. This '57-D is about as close as I've seen to rainbow toning on a Franklin.

Now if what you are actually looking for is one of those date/mm with decent toning here's a '54-D with pictures by two different people...

nice coins sy ! i would like to find the 51, 53, 54d mints that look like your 57d , but i am beginning to realize that it's not going to happen.

Bammed member PawPaul had what is very likely the finest known 1951-D rainbow toner. I believe it was 66FBL when he sold it, it's now a PCGS MS66+FBL. It's a tough date to find with any kind of decent color.
