A housekeeping announcement

I have stated many times in the past that I consider myself first and foremost a collector and that my posts are to be taken in that context. As of the first of the year that perspective will change. I have recently signed a letter of intent to increase to a 49% shareholder in Legend Numismatics and so I will be posting more from the perspective of a fulltime dealer.

    Nothing. There are those who claim that i need to be fully open regarding my relationship with Legend. Here you have full disclosure.

    I may attend more West Coast shows, but mostly will be working behind the scenes to ensure Legend is well run and well financed.

    PNG member, numismatic dealer since 1965. Operates a retail store, also has exhibited at over 1000 shows.
    I firmly believe in numismatics as the world's greatest hobby, but recognize that this is a luxury and without collectors, we can all spend/melt our collections/inventories.

    Congratulations and good luck, You have done an awful lot for the hobby as a collector and I look forward to your impact on the dealer side even if it targets a different segment of the market. If you are trying to raise capital for the venture I am a buyer for some of your old circulated problematic Doubled die Trade dollars image

    I am pleased to learn of this development and hope this leads to more posting on your part. As a man of both integrity and honor I always welcome your perspective. Not to mention the amazing coins that come your way.

    While many believe the relationship must be fractious between collector and dealer, it is MHO that is personality driven, not systemic. Perhaps we will hear things via your filter that seem a bit harsh when attributed to Laura. Again, congratulations !!
