Toned Uncirculated Roosies! A nice surprise from an eBay gamble. Thoughts?

I posted this on the silver dime thread but it is getting buried. I have been working on a circulated Roosie set (bullion quality) and about a month ago I took a chance on this eBay auction. The final price was close to melt and the pics looked like there could be some toners so I figured why not. I was not disappointed! I have no experience grading Roosies, but most appear to be uncirculated and some have some nice toning. I am no photographer and these are just point and shoot, so sorry about the quality and random sizing. Anything worth submitting here?

Here are a couple shots trying to show the toning:

Regarding slabs, I'd say save your money on those...

The first one looks like it has graffiti on the obverse.

image The surfaces look pretty rough, spotted, and/or cleaned in those photos.

Looks like some nice color on those. I have a bunch in 2x2's. my goal is to have a set to put into a Capitol holder, like Sanction II has. I could care less about the grades as long as they have attractive toning. I would say you are off to a good start.

Thanks for the insight everyone. Based on the auction and the frame they came in, it's probably safe to assume they were encased since at least 1975. The 1972-75 clad ones look really fresh but I was really just buying these for the pre-65 silver. They look great in my circulated album image

    I'd keep them raw

Unless you want to put them in the Registry, which would require slabbing I would just put the in a Whitman book. I think silver looks better in blue.

    Those are some pretty toners.image
