Should the PCGS 1950-1964 Proof Registry Set include...

The PCGS 1950-1964 Proof Registry Set currently requires 76 coins which includes the 1960 Lincoln Cent in both large and small dates.
I would like to see it also include the 1952 Superbird Quarter along with the normal one, 1956 Type 1 & Type 2 Half Dollar, and the 1964 Kennedy in both normal and Accented Hair.
What do you think?

    The 56 Type I and II halves sure, the accented hair Kennedy maybe, and definitely not on the superbird.

    If they are going to do that they should have all the proof varieties included.

    I'll go along with the '56 and '64 halves, but not the Superbird quarter (even though I have 3 of them). The halves come from distinctly different hubs; the quarter is merely the result of lint or a piece of metal on a single die.

    most registry sets have coins exuded form them that specialist disagree with. In my set Trade dollar w/ major Varieties only the 75 s/cc is included even though PCGS calls the 76cc Doubled Die a Major variety. My point being that I believe that PCGS is correct by only slowly adjusting their sets as stability is essential as if it always changed the top sets would grow disenfranchised by always having to go out and get that next top pop coin.

    The two 1960 Lincoln Varieties are very random inclusions, IMHO.

    What you are suggesting is a Major Variety Set and while the 1960 Small and Large Dates are actually varieties, the real question is which one is the variety?

    When wanting to include these varieties folks should also consider that the many doubled dies which are available for these sets should get equal consideration. Then things start getting screwy big!
    I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
