    Its NT,and kind of cool i think.I am not really a monochromic toner fan,but looks like nice luster,pop,and a great pic.image

    I think when you see untoned areas on the outward side of the stars and letters it is original toning that took many years to form.

    I have no idea why, perhaps the surface structure is different in these areas due to shearing of the metal. Can anyone offer a reason?
