Looks like there is a Santa Claus in numismatics!

It's from this summer, but I figured it would be best if I put off showing this picture until now. The coin was nothing special, just a PCGS First Strike PR69 Presidential Dollar from eBay.

I'll bet that's a popular postmark come Christmastime. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if some folks there offer a remailing service for Christmas cards.

I used to live near Bat Cave, NC, which was a popular place to mail Halloween cards. (And yes, some folks DO mail Halloween cards.)

Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

The post office in "Loveland", Colorado [on the front range of the Rockies between Denver and Fort Collins] has always been a very popular place to mail Valentine's Day cards and presents from.

Having gone to school in Alaska, every year I was there my family would pack up and ship christmas cards that I would drive the 15 minutes to North Pole, AK to drop in a mailbox.
