Dilemma. Looking for assistance.

I needed cash and had to sell some silver bullion Friday to pay for kids baseball season. Then out of nowhere get email from mint and got filled on 25th set.
What is the plan of action?
Sell, Sell a couple, Hold, Grade or Trade?

Get the set and sell it raw for a profit. Sounds like you need the dough.

A more pressing question, obleft, is why does the kid need baseball paid for in the winter?

Not trying to offend, but you do not have the resources to be in bullion.

Sounds like you don't have the basics. Emergency fund, savings etc.... if your pressed to pay for cleats.

These days being in bullion is not a luxury. Many smart people converted their savings to bullion a while back and sell a bit when it's time for a savings withdrawal. Chances are the OPs bullion is giving him a much better return than a savings account that pays less than half a percentage point.

My savings has been completely in bullion since 2005.

They speak the truth. Sell the set unopened and just for kicks... List it as a "LAST STRIKE". Who knows ?????

A little confused by wording, is this "a" set or a box of multiples? The last question implies there is more than one. If you got just one, sell. If you got 5, sell at least 3, hold 1 or 2 for later. It sounds like it wasn't shipped by the 9th, so it doesn't matter anymore if the box is sealed.
Have bought and sold on BST, many references available when asked.

correct, All savings are in bullion, clearly outperformed a CD or any other savings account.
