1939 Jefferson OBW Roll on ebay........Updated with pics
I won this roll the other day....it's on it's way, I don't know why I bought it, I just had a gut feeling or too many beers, sure does not look as old as it should....
So what do you think..how is this gonna play out.....good, bad, maybe...I got lucky.
All opinions welcome....let-r-rip.
Then when it gets here I'll open it live. (yeah I know I'm a copy-cat doing the live thing but it sounds like fun...)

Not sure why some think they only show one end, that is a heads/heads roll and looks very, very nice to me!

I love stuff like this. They are fastly becoming few and far between however. Well worth the gamble.

<< <i>There's probably a reason only one end is pictured. I think you will be disappointed, but good luck. >>
The wrapper looks too new, and was probably rerolled. Alternatively, I would not be surprised if it turned out to be full of circulated pieces. I wish you luck nevertheless.

I don't know anything about the roll but just wanted to mention the two pictures of the end coin are the same coin taken at different angles. The other end isn't shown.

Oh, that is true and certainly a flag. I hope it's OK.....
<< <i>When you get it please becareful opening it I would be interested in the old bank wrapper if it isnt too badly mangled after opening. >>
<< <i>Just a question.................if the description says it hasn't been opened and heads are showing at both ends, how does the seller know it's a roll of P mints ? could they be D mints ?
Could be he has psychic powers! :-)
The roll arrived this morning, looks like the real deal...........I'm going to open it this afternoon, more pics to come.

Good luck with it !
More pics soon.............................

I once had buyers remorse after winning a roll of 1954_S Jeffs that I came to realize had been opened on one end.
But to my great surprise, the roll had apparently only been searched for steps. It had 16 (count 'em!) S/D overmintmarks.
