Making something like this?

I guess I'm asking where I can find a silver bracelet like that or something silver that would serve the same purpose

I've seen some belts made of junk silver coins. They soldered 4 loops on each coin so they connect like a chain. If you something like that you don't need the bracelet to start it.

Another idea is belt buckles. I was looking at some that were a bunch of silver coins. It looked like they started with any big buckle and used JB weld to attach a pile of coins. I asked if they stayed together and the guy said no problem, they stay together very well. I guess you could braze them if you want it stronger.

    Added:
I've also seen ash trays made in a similar way, silver coins soldered to make the tray then bent coins under it to make the legs.

Buy a nice silver chain bracelet and let a good jeweler attach the coins similar to a charm bracelet. The bracelet in your pic looks cheap and unattractive---like a strip of sheet metal.

If you need exact instructions, I will need to beg my wife to write something up, but here is the basic idea. Supplies at pretty much any jewelry supply store.

You'll need 2x number of coins silver chain links. You can probably buy these premade or you can buy a thick silver wire and make them yourself (wrap the wire around a wood dowel and use a jewelers saw to cut along the length of the wire that is wrapped around the dowel. That bit is pretty easy.

You'll need a small butane torch (again, sold at jewelry store) to solder the links together although these are not soldered in your picture i recommend it because it looks better. You'll need silver solder, which is not the same stuff you get at radio shack, so buy that at the jewelry store, too.

Drill for the holes in the coins. Drill press will make this a lot easier for you, but you can probably do it by hand.

Jewelry store will have plates of silver in different thicknesses. Buy one and see if they can precut the strip. If not jewelers saw will work fine, just mark out with a marker and wash off after. Round the end with your saw.

The "buckle" looks like the hardest part. I'd probably make it out of one bit of strip and just bend the edges, but you will need a vise to do this easily. After that just solder it on. make sure it is wide enough to accommodate.

    a few tips --

go online and look for a tutorial on soldering silver. it's not hard, but there are some things you want to know before you do it.

buy a ton of saw blades. you'll break a lot of them. don't worry, this happens. you'll go through them like candy.

when you're done and want to tarnish it a simple way is to throw it in a bad with some hard boiled eggs and let it sit over night.

"just do it". i have no doubt that anyone here could fashion a bracelet like this. it's very crude.

Agree---that's why you should start with a nice silver charm bracelet, especially if you are planning to give it as a gift to a loved one.

image and my grandfather was a goldsmith. Something like that design pictured could be executed much better, obviously the maker didn't have a high skill level.

Most large jewelry stores have a gold/silver smith that works in the back.
