Looking Good. Another Minerva like the MOH would be great. If it is a good design I may buy.

I like #2 better than the recommended one.

Regardless of how many designs are offered, you can be sure the powers-that-be at the Mint will select the ugliest and most inappropriate.
How I wish the Mint would hire artists that are skilled in medallic design!

maybe they want to de-fence our borders???

it should be defense.

I like this one - ya got yer liberty cap (seems long lost in todays designs when it used to be a common theme), Liberty looks like she means business, I think she's gonna straighten congress and the CIC out.

Why would they use an English spelling of defense? Weird, it should absolutely be: defense.

bob

oooops, already mentioned!

[Note: The spelling of the word "defence" throughout the article and on the design candidates prepared by the Mint is based on the spelling used in the original Preamble to the United States Constitution.]

You know it's funny, I've looked at many of these proposed design web pages and I can almost always guess which one will be chosen merely by determining which one I dislike the most.

I like this one:

Any design with a gun in it is a winner in my book.
