  I've seen that "toning" before; it's caused from Tarn-X. Nasty stuff. You can probably smell it.

  This large cent thread is being hijacked by "modern" collectors. I'm just glad that in the OP pic, it states that the coin pictured is the one you will receive. That makes me feel much better!!!
