Most beautiful pre-1900 foreign coin

I am interested in possibly getting an older, foreign coin. I have seen a bunch of British coins I like. Just curious what your favorite is...preferably something affordable, but Id like to look at anything

Let's see ... Gothic Florins, Queen Victoria Jubilee coinage, German States 2M, 3M and 5M commems along with some commems from Sweden, Denmark, Finland, etc.

Of course, the further back you go the more expensive some of the pieces get ... not that I wouldn't mind having some siege money ... but ... OUCH!!!

Both the Ggothic and the jubilee I am very interested in...they are just really hard to find in higher grades (and slabbed)...2 things I'd like...

Here are images of a Spanish-Philippines 1897-SG V Peso from an old Stacks auction. It's not my coin, since the earliest dated US-Philippines coin is 1903, but prior to 1898 the Philippine Islands were a Spanish possession and island coinage was minted by that country. It's a pretty crown sized coin, and prices are comparatively reasonable for nice examples.

I usually nominate the Haiti Gourde pieces, minted between 1881 to 1895.
However, a less expensive piece could be the French 10 Centimes, minted between 1898 and 1921.

Where I like much older coins, a coin I am looking to buy at some point is the Italian 500 Lire from the 60s with the columbus ships...absolutely beautiful coin. Hard to find a nice toned, slabbed one though.

The Gothic Florins are pretty easy to find in 63-65 with a couple available in every major auction, there are even some in 66 but they tend to get pricy at that level.

The Jubilee head Florins are also easy to get and quite a bit cheaper.

It is commonly referred to as the "Una", or Una and the Lion. It's a £5 proof gold coin. Nice ones start at about $50,000 and up these days.

Well, I like this one because, even though it is British it will be the closet I can get to owning a Talbot Cent (which is a Colonial)
The cud comes in various stages, mine is a late die state.

Id probably pay around $300...if I could find one like it. I haven't been able to find any of these pretty british coins (nicely toned) in good shape for a decent price...
I am definitely keeping my eye out for one like that though!

Actually, I've always been partial to the Haitian design of the late 19th century. Anyone got a nice BU example?

I am partial to the British "bun head" bronze pieces that were minted from 1860-1875 (the younger head with more detail). For example:

This example is of the toothed border halfpenny, which to my knowledge is unknown in RD save for this piece.
