    Love it! My dad has card #1 in the set with the Orange background. When was in 7th grade a 9th grader brought a bunch of cards on the bus that had belonged to his dad. The kid wanted to sell some of them, I had no money but my dad sent me to school with $100 the next day and said to buy what I could with it. Got about 10 nice 54's including the Williams, Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford etc.

    I did manage to trade for a 1953 Jackie Robinson from the kid for a 60's football card and some 80's stuff. That was the beginning of my Robinson collection. Still have the Robinson.

    Ted Williams is GOD. There is no man living or dead that I would rather hang out with than Ted. The ultimate man's man if there ever was one. His '55 topps card is my all time favorite card.
