PCGS REGISTRY SET-POST IT HERE.....

I know of a number of great World Coin registry sets out there that many posters here have to be proud of.

I have a couple and would enjoy looking at, and lusting over image, some the others.

If you got it; how about posting it for others to see.........

  • Good Lord Bosox!

Well there goes my idea of posting my own piddly little (by comparison) stuff image

    Just wonderful!

Please post your set. We all start somewhere and we all collect what we can afford with similar amounts of enthusiasm. By their nature registry sets are competitive, but I think most of us enjoy looking at registry sets from all over the collecting and grading spectrum.

I don't have a finished set, yet. Most are @ NGC, but I do have 1 here (Mexico City Type Set) which I'm slowly building out and might complete sometime in 2012 if I find coins that have the look I enjoy.
  • That really looks great Roman; a lot of time and work into it and very impressive.

    Thanks for sharing!
  • I don't know how but, if anyone would post my PCGS Palestine Mandate set (before I lose my position to our own beloved marcmoishe) it would be greatly appreciated. Love to all!

hehe - the others I'm missing at pcgs registry are some ngc's - maybe one day I'll do a switcheroo - until then you are in the lead image
  • That's about the most impressive set I've ever seen.

You guys duke it out. I'm happy with my little "modern crap" stuff since my grandchild is only 9 and
the will says "no spending for candy bars at the 7-11 and no cashing out until you have your first grandbaby" image
  • I've just added 5 and upgraded 1 today to my US-PI registry, but I have yet to photograph the six new additions. My set can be accessed via my signature.
  • Beautiful set Ilollokano and it's hard to imagine the time and effort that went into putting it together.

As I've said before I tend to concentrate on later issues because of the cost, the availability and the fact that they're there for our
grand kids so hopefully they will appreciate over the years.

This is one I still want to improve but I've enjoyed putting it together....

    here's another...1858-1952 type set

    here's another...1935-1952 dollar set
  • Just knock out sets Jeremy, way, way out of my league.

Thanks so much for posting them.....
  • Thanks again everybody, for posting some of the most impressive sets I've ever seen.

Posting another, not in the league of most of the others I've seen, but in hopes of keeping the thread going.....

I really like the photos you add to each of your sets. image

My type set is linked in my signature line ... not sure if it's considered a Registry Set by the PCGS definition, but there it is.
  • Hat's off my friend.

I am simply overwhelmed at the time, commitment and resources you put into building one of the most impressive sets I've seen in The Registry.

This must have been a lot of fun to work on and I hope you'll convince the folks at Registry to put in a special category for you to completely dominate :+)

Thanks for posting it; great to see this kind of diligence and tenacity; really hope you'll tackle the pictures project soon. I'd love to see them.....
  • I seriously doubt I can ever complete this one in high grade, but I like the ones I have in it....

  • I meant to mention there's a story behind this particular set; included in the copy at the top.....

A great set, and great pics.

I'm still in the buying stage ... don't think I'll be selling for a couple decades. In the meantime, I'll show off a recent purchase that I haven't yet added to the set ...
