Philadelphia Expo - who's going?

littlebearlittlebear Posts: 1,603 ✭✭✭✭✭
Is it my imagination, or did the Philadelphia Expo just creep up real quick? It is just two weeks away from today. So who will be there September 15 - 18?

Dave and I will be at Table #625 with a lot of new coins and a slew of CRO hats to give away.

And, if all goes according to plan in Long Beach, we might have something faaaaaaantastic with us.

I will be there at Table #545 for the entire event, with a huge number of Bust and Seated coins.

I give away my store token, which looks like an 1823/2 quarter, and you don't even have to buy anything to get one! (Unlike some of my competitors' freebies, where you have to buy something to get one!) image

If you attend the show, stop by and say hello!

Please stop by my table. I will be there from 9/15-17, all day, everyday.

NGC is going to be there. I don't see the Philly show on PCGS's show schedule.

I'll be there the 16th, friday.

If anyone has any 1793 Liberty Cap or 1799 Draped Bust cents, please bring them. I'm interested in both. I have a giant beard and glasses, you can't miss me.

Anyone going to be onsite taking photos?

And how do on site submissions work?

I don't know if Todd will be at the show but if he is he can do photos on site.

As for on site grading, you submit the coins then come back later in the day or the next day. When the order is finished the coins are handed back to you by the delivery manager (either Ofelia or David). You sign for your order and take posession of your coins.

    1) I don't know of any on site photographers, but that doesn't mean there isn't any.

    2) PCGS does not have this show on their schedule on the website. I also did not see them listed on the dealer list. You might want to check with PCGS to confirm. NGC will be on site.

I have a membership with NGC because I get my tokens graded by them. I was going to be sending in a submission, but if they will be doing grading onsite that would be great. Is it better to do submission paperwork prior or at the show?

I have never submitted myself. Someone else might better answer that question. NGC's site says they will be doing onsite grading there.
