The whole look is off. The details are mushy, the luster is weird, and the date is TOTALLY wrong. Look how terrible the eagle looks on the reverse. That's not a genuine coin.
They are in fact fakes. The reverse on both are from the same die (should not be, obviously). Dentils on the front are a tell as well. Date numerals are off as well. Good fake but fake.

Did you go down his feedback and send a message to the buyers that left positives? I'd be nervous about using my main ebay ID for that maybe one of the angry buyers might mention your name and he might retaliate against you. better put him on your BBL just in case
He sure sounds like a crook to me in our messages on eBay he sent me this.
We do the magnet test and match weight to 26 grams and even compare to pics from Coin Prices Mag. What is intersting, no one has confirmed how by a pic they concluded this coin could or is fake? Several seasoned coin collector have purchased. Is there a possibility that a coin is fake, yes. You seem to have been in this business to know ther are fake coins everywhere. My problem was wirh your friend who made nasty statements. I buy from dealers who sell as genuine on ebay. If I buy from ebay I think I have a right to sell that item back on ebay.. The problem is not me, its the system who let in around the woudl fake coins. With our customes security we should not have so many. I protect myself by one offering a return policy and recipts of my purchases whics will show I do not purchase fakes at all. The one we find they go back.
Thanks for not accusing me and understandind that sh*t somtimes happens beyond oou control.
My answer.. I am sorry but just because you bought a fake coin does not give you the right to sell it as a real coin any time you list you must make the declaration of the authentistesty of what you are selling or if it is not real list in the copy area.
Dought if I will be hearing from him again.....
And the beat go on... I agree. As I stated we truly have no reason to believe this coin is fake. If I prove wrong, I always accept coin back and return them to the dealer.
