i'm a bit rusty and just need some confirmation.

do the varieties listed in the population report pages get attributed at the regular fee while the non-listed varieties require the extra fee?

the specific example i am inquiring about as well as knowing for other varieties for the future.

147849 1946-S/S 10C DDR & RPM FS-501 (FS-011.7), FB

i have a nice ms65-66 i'd like to get slabbed but would rather not have $40-50 in fees seeing as how it may not be worth much more than that
.
.
thanks!

That 46 S/S would need the extra fee.

Only ones with a PCGS coin number get the regular fee, there's only a few variety roosies. The only ones I see with numbers are the 64-d DDR, 82 no P. (in the 19th Ed numbering list, you might check the newer lists just in case)

Basically, if the coin has a 6 digit number, it costs $24 for that 6th digit.

5 digit numbers are usually assigned to coin characteristic attributions such as FB, CAM, DCAM, etc.

4 digit numbers that are DDO or RPM Varieties are all at the basic submission rates such as the 47-S RPM (Coin Number 5208) and 64-D DDR (Coin Number 95129)

Of course, each of the 4 digit numbers has a 6 digit counterpart which will put the specific FS Number on the slab instead of the Generic RPM or Doubled Die Reverse.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

All major varieties are recognized at no additional charge.

All minor varieties or die states can be done through the Variety Service.
