Neat little 1877 Lords Prayer token

I thought this was a neat little piece and picked it up for my mom. Anyone have any additional info on this token? Thanks in advance!

It's a George Soley piece. He acquired the first steam press from the US mint (which today resides in the ANA) and struck tokens from it at large expositions. I am a ready buyer image

Very cool. I've had some Lord's Prayer pieces, too (both American and British, mostly from the turn of the century), but haven't seen one quite like that.

Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

Soley created this and several other similar varieties of tokens which are about the size of a U.S. Half Dime. They are all listed in Rulau's 4th edition of "United States Tokens". The most common variety is the gold plated brass with the facade of Independence Hall on front. All of that variety were issued holed with a red/white/blue ribbon knotted through the medal.
