Just Saying Hello
After ~2 years of lurking, and at the insistence of RYK and Barndog, I've decided to take the plunge and post a little on the forums.
As a graduate student of limited means, I'm currently working on raw, low grade sets of Capped Bust and Seated dimes to complement my almost complete sets of Barber, Mercury, and Roosevelt dimes. Once I finish up school, my goal/plan is to pick up the various keys and a Draped Bust year set in plastic, as well as to upgrade some of the mistakes I've made and will inevitably make in my albums. I'm also very interested in Southern Gold, and at the risk of being spread too thin, could be tempted to work on a Charlotte type set.
I was lucky enough to make it to the Chicago ANA show last week where I got to see some beautiful pieces from RYK's collection, and was able to pick up several nice dimes from Rich Uhrich and Brian Cushing. However, I agree with many of the comments in other threads that the best part of the show was getting to interact face to face with dealers and other collectors. I'm looking forward to future discussions on the boards and hopefully to meeting other board members at future shows!

That also took you a rather long time to make your first post! I understand, it takes awhile to get the wording just right.
