Thanks for the reminder. Time sure does go by quickly.
I think I, and probably some others, to often get caught up in some trivial annoyance, sometimes even saying something hurtful. Not only will I continue to express my love and appreciation to my closest loved ones but I will try to compromise, appreciate and embrace diversity and generally be a better person at all times.
Unless I stub my toe. Then I will curse. But I will curse myself, my clumsiness, not the fool (probably me) who put the chair (or whatever) in the way. I will accept full responsibility for my actions not blaming others. I cannot undo the mistakes I've made in the past but I can change how I behave now and in the future.
Tom I love you man. Thank you for posting this. MJ

Thank you all for your kind thoughts. It has indeed been almost a year since I lost her, but time heals, and life goes on.
Just remember to make that call.

Sorry for your loss. Losing a souse is a very tough one. I lost my Wife as well. I wouldn't say time heals, as a big giant hole tends not to heal. I look at it as with time, the pain becomes less sharp. But never goes away.

Tom: I am glad to hear that your first anniversary is one in which you are healing. Hope you are able to belly laugh more each day.
I am reminded of the hilarious episode I saw again tonight of Everyone Loves Raymond in which Marie (The Mom) comes running to hug her son Raymond while he was on his bed with his wife Debra after her husband Frank told her that Raymond had a difficult recovery from anesthesia weeks before. The visual scene of her body smack in the middle between Raymond and his wife is incredible and Raymond said it so well that this visual scene was his worst nightmare.
Laughter is the best medicine for us all.
Oh yes, I did not forget to give my wife a big hug and kiss and tell her I loved her. She was still nice enough to look at the wonderful 1794 cents that BigMoose owns which I insisted that she look at. She did like the eyes. I told her her eyes were just as pretty. She said I was full of shxt and we laughed.
