I could've used it for my type set. I put in a fairly strong bid, but not nuclear. Saints are pretty common with the photo certificate, so I shouldn't have to much trouble finding another. I was hoping the less than desirable photos would'e scared people off on a 2K + coin.

No, you're right. That price is a bit too high. Even at the next grade up.

That is a coin that's going to lose all it's ANACS info to be sent in for a shot MS64. However, as braddick stated, it's really not worth the fees (the bid, shipping from seller, shipping to our hosts or ATS, ins on shipping, return shipping...it doesn't add up for an upgrade try). It's a shame it didn't go to someone that would've kept it's 'originality' in tact (meaning you, relics).

From the way the plastic flip surfaces ripples it looks like a soft PVC flip.

Are these older ANACS flips known to be PVC flips?

Just curious.

Yep, all of the original flips that ANACS used especially in the arly to mid 80's were PVC flips. Some of the later ones are not and some had the coin wrapped in a thin plastic sleeve before being put into the PVC flip.
