Shook the Pentagon something fierce and although the building it self is solid, it is built on landfill in the Potomac River and 2 stories under ground we shook and shook for about a Min and then we sent everybody home and DC was cast into grid lock.
The epi center is about 16 miles from our shop and my home. I was in the shop pricing some coins when it hit. It lasted about 20 seconds and a whole shelf fell down with stuff on it and one side of the safe the coins fell out of it. I have been in some pretty hairy situations when I was on submarines but this made me a little unnerved.
