1. End our stay in Afghanistan, withdraw all troops and equipment in one year.
Keep a residual force, of perhaps, 30,000 troops in the Northern part of the Country
where the , non Pushtan tribes are.
2. All tax loopholes that do not benefit small and medium size business , small farms
or industries or companies researching beneficial alternate power sources or other
creative areas that benefit the Nation and its people, shall be eliminated.
3.Break up Mega Banks into State wide Banks. Limit Banks to strictly banking. This must be separated
from all other investments or speculations.
4. Enforce laws against monopolies.
5. Stop all use of genetically designed foods using animal genes. This is totally different from the historic
splicing of plant only genes. Although, so much is already in the environment, it is hard to say how this will
be done. At least we can stop further experimentation on the population.
6. Restrict or outright outlaw, the exotic derivations that are already in the quadrillions world wide.
7. All mortgages must be held by the bank or financial institution making the loan.
8. New rational tax structure to be established. This structure must favor small and medium size
businesses, that actually do create jobs which remain in the community.
9. Put on hold, all current and future free trade agreements.
10. There shall be a special tax imposed on any company that transfers or creates new factories or jobs
outside of the USA.
11. immediate relief to states so that they can rehire teachers, firemen and police. This will take the form
of no interest loans and grants
12.Start mass transit projects, that must be use American companies and American Labor.
13. Close all offshore loopholes or foreign" no tax" countries from being used by individuals or
Corporations seeking to avoid just taxation. We are being taken advantage of by these countries
and by the language in so called free trade agreements. Give an amnesty period and then start throwing
some people into jail. This legislation will specify that charged with non payment of lawful taxes, a person so charged
and convicted shall not have their defense paid by the Corporation nor shall the Corporation find
any way to reimburse said individual unless the charges are dropped or the person is exonerated by trial.
14. Social Security shall be saved by having all earned income taxed up to a maximum of 1,00,000 in earnings.
15. Suspend naked short selling of stock and other equities, for the duration of the financial crises.
16. Enact new interest usuary laws that will limit credit card interest rates, as well as laws to limit late payment fees and service charges.
17. Award tax credits to rebuild our industrial base with state of the art technology . This would include steel, tires, electrical components
and electronic goods such as TVs, toasters, microwave. Rebuild the basic shoe, clothing , carpet industries.
18. A elections for Federal elective positions must be funded to maximum limits by Government Funding. A separate limit as well as funding
to be established , taking into consideration of specific position and cost levels in particular portions of the Country. Any financial contributions
to a Federal officials campaign, or the official personally or members of their immediate family, by any individual, company, pact or association shall be considered a bribe and as
such, shall be totally outlawed.

I saw briefly on the news last night (this might not be a new story) that I think it was a large transit project in New York, a Chinese company won the bid and is doing the project. I mean are they, the government, kidding me? Allowing a stinking Chinese company to build our infrastructure...and I know this isn't the first time this has happened...I think in Philly many years back, if I'm remembering right, a foreign company won the bid for new trolley cars...but in this day & age where we need to build things here and keep profits here, this sure seems to me like an outrage allowing a Chinese company...and of course we know it's really their communist government running Chinese companies such as this...to even bid on this project...and I was outraged. I hate buying Chinese goods and try my best to avoid doing so whenever possible.

15. Banning short selling.
That would actually lead to erroneous price discovery. We need short selling to help determine real prices. What we don't need
is naked short selling and high frequency trading by the big banks and funds. Ban HFT and naked short selling. Put someone in
charge of the SEC and CFTC that will enforce rigged trading and go after the violators. The fact that a big trading bank makes
thousands of trades in a second and can move markets in any direction they generally desire is absurd.

Actually, that would solve virtually ALL of the problems.

If this is not a joke (and I sincerely hope it is), please go read the Federalist papers, watch a few hours of C-SPAN, and do a little research on thomas.gov to see what it is the Congress actually does and why a direct democracy in a country this size is impossible.
