I picked up 2 that I wanted, the 1708 Shilling and 1804 Bank of England Dollar (5 Shillings).

Missed it and the lot I was planning to bid on went for peanuts!!!!!!!
Now to find the dealer who bought that 1813 Guadalajara piece and see what kind of mark-up I'll have to pay.

Look at it this way, TwoKopeiki. The buyer might be of the sort who only seeks a reasonable profit on a quick turn-around, and you might actually end up paying less than you would have if you had ended up in a bidding war. Perhaps you'll get lucky and (1) find the buyer, and then (2) only have to pay a small markup. All hope is not lost, yet.

No. I'm awaiting a reply back from PhilippineCoins.com on a few of their items that I wish to purchase outright. Some folks think they're expensive, but they have the quality coins that I really want. Also, if anyone can get me a Justhavingfun duplicate of a hard to find variety, they can.
