It looks like a scan. Keep your expectations low with this coin because it will look like haze from many angles and will only pop when rotated correctly.

That one looks fairly nice! Congrats!

Getting a DCAM on an IKE Proof where the fields are heavily toned or frosted/hazed can be difficult. This is probably why it only rated a PR68.

    Which Mintmark style is it?

That 74 is very typical of many 74's left in the original mint plastic. The mint changed the plastic late in 73, so if you look, almost all 74's in the original plastic have some color. Some is better than others.

This coin is better than most, but still should not command a big premium. If you get it, let me know and I'll fill you up with more!!!

I'm not a fan of Ike dollars; but I really like yours. The toning is amazing!

I sold one a few years ago with very identical toning, except mine was still in the original holder. It brought in about $106 if I remember correctly.

I like the color but DLRC seems to send a lot to CAC so if there is no sticker the grade may be off.

You have the coin, what do you think in hand?

1- Even if CAC doesn't sticker a coin, it doesn't mean the grade is incorrect. Perhaps no high-end for the grade, but not wrong.
2- This coin isn't worth sending to CAC
3- CAC doesn't accept Ike dollars

That 74 is very typical of many 74's left in the original mint plastic.

if you are patient and look around at eBay, shops and shows you can find coins which will rival and surpass that in the OGP for melt or just past GreySheet. this is one of the reasons why falling in love with color can be painful, i hope you didn't pay too much for it.

BTW, finding most of the clad dates with attractive tone is very tough and the 1776/1976 MS and PR Silver issues rarely tone in the OGP. if these coins are something you are drawn to i suggest you PM segoja for assistance.
