    I would say yes if you're going to put it and some others in a DANSCO or get it graded. As it is, it has no more than melt value and these are readily available in really nice condition.

    I like the greenish/blue one's over the straight blue one's.

    I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    I would sell the coin and buy one you like better. Very common coin and easy to obtain a nice one for a modest price.image

    These 40% Silver IKE coins are nearly impervious to dip.

    But I wouldn't spend it since it does have silver value of a little over $10 as of Fridays close.
    I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    Metal does what it does, naturally. It didn't get in plastic, naturally.... but it will get a haze and tone in it's original package, without any assistance, in time. It might do well in a Dansco album, or a Taco Bell Napkin

    It is what it is. Why not leave it that way ?

    I was joking, I wouldn't spend any ike but I was busting Ike collectors chops. I have a stack of blue/red packs I like very much and if my son ever shows the itch I will start him on a dansco of Ikes
