Mercury Dime toning: NT or AT

Ok, pics aren't great, I apologize, but from this small (literally) sample, would you venture to guess this coin is naturally toned, or artificially? What causes toning such as this, from your experience, if it is natural? Hopefully the pics reveal enough for those that have experience with Mercs that have toned this way.

    Looks to have toned from a older Whitman album, they usually tone smaller coins blue on the rims with yellow towards the center.

    I would say NT, looks like a Dansco tone.

    From the photos, would say NT.

    NT. Not sure many people would do that on purpose or even by accident. Looks like a dirty dime that sat in a holder for a long long time.
