Don't know about the seller, but the coin in the linked auction looks awfully like a polished XF.

    YES,

image I think many of the pics look polished or VERY clean. But I wanted other opinions. They are a top seller, with reasonable FB. I didn't lookup NEG FB.

You'd be there a while wading through all the negs in the last 12 months.

    Not argumentative, but why not?

You can go to their feedback page on eBay and click right on the number of negs. Here's what you get.

edited to add... FWIW, this is the latest neg: "Sells whizzed coins polished with a wire wheel! Do no business with this seller!"

Search this forum for that seller name. There was a thread just this week about them and it's very telling......

I don't know how they maintain a 99.6 TOP SELLER rating with FB like that!

I'm glad I asked though. image

Sheer volume , it's a loophole that's long been there.

I'm going to post a WTB thread on the BST with specific dat/mms I need. If you have Walkers for sale, also a couple Mercs I need.

I think that's only part of the answer. Volume won't help you if all you sell is crap and everybody can tell.

From looking at their listings, one thing in their favor is selling mint/proof sets, as there's not a lot of dispute over what those are. Plus- it doesn't hurt that lots of buyers really aren't very good at grading, so they end up accepting stuff they probably would be better off returning.

edited to add... should have said "misdescribed crap" above. Nothing wrong with selling "crap" if everybody knows the score.

    Thank for the info guys,

Kept me from puttin my foot in. image

Darn shame though. Many of the pics that look polished also look like they were in good condition before the polishing. image

They probably were. Unfortunately, lots of buyers like shiny coins. Not that I'm saying the seller is the one making them shiny, of course.

    $29.00 + $2.95 shipping

Go into just about any coinshop and pick it out of the bullion barrell for about $12.50 right now.

common junk. 250% overpriced common junk.
    Have a nice day
