Inherited coins
Iv inherited some coins but don’t know much about them. The one below is the oldest. If I might ask what grade would it be and value
Looks like most other coins were cleaned so does that make the value to those just spot silver price.
Is a 21s more rarer then a 21 with no letter. Thanks so much for any comments.

Intrinsic value melt plus a buck or two.
numismatic value of this particular coin negligible, each piece must be evaluated separately.
numismatic value is a function of rarity, condition, and collector demand

are many different varieties or a lot of coins you will want to buy the Redbook of US Coins at your bookstore. If there
are few coins or all seem to be of the same variety then just take them to your dealer for an evaluation. You may want
to visit several dealers to get a better idea and more accurate idea of true value.
Of course you can research them all, one by one, on Ebay for the majority of the coins.
Yes, cleaned coins are less desirealbe but that does not mean they are just melt. Rarer and scarce varieties may still
have significant (although less value) value above melt.
good luck and do ask questions!
That 78-s dollar you posted is a common coin and worth slightly more than melt. However, it does appear that the
front of the coin has had a cleaning as indicated by the parallel scratch lines in the right field.

Silver coins are only 90% silver.

That website will show you what your silver coins are worth with their silver content. Also refineries only pay 90% of spot.
I'd keep them though.

After I posted the list I realized I didnt add letters to the Liberty 22 to 28 years, if they have letters, would that make a different in value. Im going to sell them so my wife wont have to when Im gone.. Thanks for the site and info.
I also inherited 1oz bars and 10oz bars, both Engelhard, Mind don’t look as good but can I to assume their worth spot or even more like the JM bars. Most of what you see is glare but there is some tarnish upper left on the 10oz. on the right one. What % is fair that a coin store owner should charge me to buy these bars. Thank Agian I do appreciate your help.

"Spot" is the price per unit at a given time. Usually USD/troy ounce in the USA. Your silver dollars contain 0.77 troy ounces of silver (roughly) and are valued on "Melt" if there is no numismatic premium. Melt is the value of the metal in the piece.
Engelhard and JM bars bring nice premiums in the retail markets. Smaller JM/Engelhard bars can bring double "melt" in some situations.

The pictured bars can be sold for 110% of melt here on the BST Forum w/o a problem. If you have a problem - PM me and I'll buy them for $38/oz.
