Is this worth holdering

Or might the damage keep it from getting a grade....or will the next person to own it feel more at peace knowing it is genuine?

If you're planning on selling it, then I think yes. I've seen graded examples with more hits/marks than yours so I think there's a shot at getting it in a graded holder vs. a genuine holder. But even if it ends up in a genuine holder, you'll likely increase the offer prices more than the cost of sending it in for certification.

Genuine. Any key date coin should be slabbed these days ... too many counterfeits around.

Don't be cheap, slab it and then when you go to sell it will be well worth the bucks!

Im looking at putting a group of coins together for my first submission and this maybe one of them. I still feel leary of it since I still consider myself new to the hobby...5 years in.
